This years Doors Open event at the Southern Necropolis had an additional bonus for those who managed to come along on the Sunday, with an additional tour around the St. Francis Centre.
We were all treated to a fascinating insight into some of the historical “nooks and crannies” within this fantastic building which for many years has been an important part of the Gorbals and its community.
Pleased to say that next year (2014) the St. Francis Centre will be a part the official Doors Open programme of events.
