Halloween Tour 2010
Many thanks to all those who came along to the recent Southern Necropolis Halloween Torch-Lit Tour.
This was the first time I had taken people around at night and thankfully the weather was perfect for our midnight meander through the lairs.
We began our walk at 11.30pm from the gatehouse entrance and checked in on the Paterson Family, Allan Glen, White Lady, John Robertson and some of the other residents of the cemetery.
The tour ended 12.30 at the Franciscan Circle where we all “wired intae” some sausage rolls and Halloween cake.

Thanks to everyone for their kind donations on the night for the West Scotland Deaf Children's Society
(total £55)
Doors Open 2010 came to the Southern Necropolis with the yearly weekend tours of the cemetery.
There was a good turnout of visitors and everyone found the experience “dead” interesting.
This year we all joined together at the end of the tour with a warm cup of Camp Coffee, respectfully enjoyed at the grave of its founders the “Paterson Family”
